Hill View House is a Self Catering Cottage in the Isle of Wight.

Hill View House is a spacious, modern, detached, architect designed luxury house, built in 2007, fully equipped for up to 10 guests, situated along a leafy lane, in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Freshwater Bay area of West Wight, on the Isle of Wight. It has vehicular and pedestrian access to the front of the property and pedestrian access to rear – sloped and tiered.

The property enjoys views of a public golf course to the front and of open countryside to the rear. A short walk brings one to the lovely Bay and to the many walks over the Afton and Tennyson Downs. A short drive away is the Needles Pleasure Park, the yachting haven of Yarmouth (together with its foot passenger and car ferry to the mainland) and sandy beaches of Colwell Bay. The famous Military Road affords some stunning cliff top scenery and past the renowned Freshwater Bay Golf Club. Along this route, will be found unspoilt and breathtakingly beautiful coastline and beaches. The area is a haven for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and horse riders and there is a plethora of family attractions to visit, including the Dimbola Photographic Museum in Freshwater Bay, Yarmouth Castle and Pier, the wonderful coloured sands, glass blowing and chair lift ride of the needles Pleasure Park and, further a field, are Osbourne House – the former house of Queen Victoria – situated in the yachting area of Cowes and historic Carisbrooke Castle near to the centre of the Island, where the donkeys still walk on the water wheel of the old well.

Food hampers and food deliveries can be arranged with prior notice. Furthermore, we can offer special packages for spa, golf, fishing and horse riding.

We are especially family centred and have a number of items available to assist with young children and babies including three cots, three high chairs, a push chair, a pram, sterilising equipment etc. Please telephone for details.
